German is my first language. Are you looking for an accent free voice talent for the German market? Then we should talk.
If you want to offer your product in a German speaking country, you should choose a Standard German voice. The market here--as anywhere-- is not very forgiving if you try to place your product with a non-native speaker. Even within Germany, there are different dialects--and unless you have a product that relates to a certain region (for example beer from Bavaria) you do not want your product to be voiced with a dialect.
The only exception where you can use a German speaking voice with an American accent would be for a product that is known to be 'American', like the auto brand Chevy. You can always place a product with a certain accent when the accent is related to the product.
